The start of this week was a big one for BMX Tallinn – we took another big step forward with the track. Koeru Infrateenused came to help with an excavator so that everything keeps working in rainy periods. We had already dug ditches and laid pipes under the track, but in several places the ground still sloped the wrong way and water collected between the straights. Their skilled excavator driver got the slopes right, and now the pipes we laid earlier can do their job. As luck would have it, Monday brought heavier rain than usual, and the result was plain to see.
But that’s not all. Väo quarry came to help too, providing limestone dust and crushed stone, and Koeru Infrateenused took care of transporting it to the track. We now have truckloads of dust and gravel, and spreading them on the track gets going this weekend.
