Expanding the use of the public Uuesalu BMX track
BMX Tallinn’s project “Expanding the use of the public Uuesalu BMX racing track” was carried out under the CAP Strategic Plan 2023–2027 intervention “LEADER – community-led development”. It was co-funded by Rae Parish.
The aim was to create better conditions for using the track and running training sessions. Training conditions on the public outdoor track in Uuesalu have improved, and thanks to the new lighting the track can be used much longer in spring and autumn.
The project bought a finish line container, containers for maintenance tools and equipment, outdoor toilets, a timing system and tents, and built lighting for the track.
The goal is to contribute to the living environment of Rae Parish and offer local people an innovative way to spend their free time and train. The public track gives local children and young people a quality place to be active outdoors close to home – for riding for fun, training and racing.
